You'll be perhaps surprised to find that in most cases it's less than three minutes even with a careful reading.

Time taken you mentioned aboce is for GMAT RC not LSAT I beleive ?

In LSAT currentlmy time taken varies a bit for me and also I am trying to stablise at level where I become almost certain that this is the numb er of errros I make generally .

I also took my GMAT(Q50 V40) and scored 730. With just 1 up in verbal If you made it to 760 then kudos to you.

I guess I might have scored on the higher end of 50, so that had I attempted one more question correctly, I would have scored 51. Similarly for verbal. But then again I am guessing. My first reaction after the shock of seeing 50 instead of 51 was to check the overall score but to my relief it was still 760.......

Hello Vipul. Congratulations on such a brilliant score. I have a question to you regarding OG practice questions and original GMAT questions. Do you think the difficulty level of the real GMAT questions and OG practice questions are similar?? And what was your success rate while you were practicing the OG questions for individual segments such as PS, DS, SC, CR, RC.

Congratulations for your score and best of luck for your applications.. Any idea if the difficulty level of verbal questions in GMAT was comparable to later questions of OG ( Verbal sections ) as I have heard last few questions of OG are the harder ones. Also , did you see any idiom usage questions in GMAT exam.

Thanks @sv77 and @newmoon. I found the verbal to be quite difficult, just as I found the later questions of OG and OG verbal difficult. In fact when we attempt the questions in OG, we usually do so with a fresh mind and at the start of our study hours. But when you attempt similar questions in verbal, we've already been staring at the computer screen for over three hours. I don't remember honestly about the idiom usage questions and in fact I didn't categorize those questions even while practising. But I haven't got an extraordinary score so I am not the best person to answer your question.

@newmoon: In PS it was close to 100%. In DS, also, it was more than 90%. In all other sections it was between 75 and 90%. CR was my weakest area. I usually got the least answers right while practising from OG.

Thanks Saurabh....The book's name is Quantitative Aptitude. It's available at all bookstores in India as it's a popular book. For a book with such a large number of questions, the number of errors is remarkably low.
