Hey fellow applicants,
I was curious what people here think about my chances but also about the chances of other similiarly-situated folks who have a mixture of healthcare managerial backgrounds with non-profit backgrounds. I am the first person in my family to attend college. I worked in and attended school in Texas. I am a woman, not yet 30, and am Egyptian-American.
Undergraduate GPA: 4.0 (Major: Social Work) from small non-prestigious private college (received A's in 2 math and 4 economics courses)
Graduate (M.A.) GPA: 3.75 (Major: Public Administration) from a top 30 u.s. news ranked school
GMAT: 650 - not sure i can get a higher score.
Work Experience:
2 years working at a prestigious hospital - worked as hospital administrator
2 years working as manager for children's health non-profit
my recommendations are excellent - i as promoted rapidly at my jobs.
my extra-curriculars are excellent; include being class president at my undergraduate college.
i won numerous awards, including one for a health-business creative concept competition.
i advised the lt governor of texas on health care-entrepreneurship initiatives.
what do you think my chances are to get into the following mba programs?
HARVARD, MIT, BABSON, BOSTON UNIVERSITY, UPENN
GEORGETOWN, GEORGE WASHINGTON, DARDEN (UVA)
which universities do you think i am likely to get accepted into?
would i be able to pull off a scholarship and get in to any of these schools?
