620 , should i apply to NUS or NTU ?

i gave my GMAT yesterday, scored 620 (Q-50,V-24)!

Usually, in all the mock tests that I had taken, I had scored between 680 and 720, with an average Quant score of 49 & an average Verbal score of 35 !

I am a indian citizen, having graduated from a reputed NIT, having a total experience of 2.5 years with a leading telecom operator ! My work-ex is rich & varied.

I am planning to apply to NUS or NTU in Singapore ! Should i apply, what are my chances ? Plzzz help !!!

Hey look at their average scores. If your score is close to it then you don't have to worry. Otherwise, unless you think you are a stellar applicant, go for GMAT again(if you have time, of course). Other thing to consider is your GPA. If your GPA is high may be you don't have worry about your GMAT. But my personal opinion is to go for GMAT again because I think for anyone applying to MBA, his or her weakest link becomes the strongest point for the ADCOM to reject the application(especially when the college you are applying is super competitive).

maybe, retake is a better option :)

Yeeeeeah, it seems to me like a retake is in order. It's one thing to get thirty points less on your GMAT (totally normal) but 100! You can do better! And given your youth, you are in no rush.

Now or then.

Most of the applicants who decide to appear for a retake believe that it would clear their mind of any fear about the GMAT score related rejection. I strongly support this too. Peace of mind from things which you can change now.

You cant change your GPA, which is already good.

So then is better. With a bit more work ex and a clear mind. Who knows a normal day with verbal and you cross 700.
