Thanks Monika. I really appreciate your input. First of all, I am writing it again and I will continue to write until I get my desired score. The reason I felt like that because I was scoring higher on the tests than what I did yesterday specially for the Verbal section. I basically nailed the OG Verbal sectiona and yesterday, it was a disaster.

I work in the finance and economics and that is another blow to me. I must admit, however, that during mid-way in the Verbal section, I was getting tired but at that time, my score was almost decided.

I had takena course with KAPLAN and I still have access to their source. I have KAPLAN MATH book so I will go through that. I will also read RC, CR and SC from MAGMAT. I have my target around 600 and I know it can be done as I am not competing for 750+.

The quant section was not what OG and GMAT Prep had. What went wrong is that I did not do well and I have to go back and review basics.

Could you please let us know your background such as where are you right now? what is your highest degree? in which medium you learnt?

Why I am asking is because of your score, which is sorry to say, but somewhat less. From such a score I think you are lacking in Basics and you need to work very hard for the same.

If you are in India, then try to get R. S. Aggrwal Quant book. It will be very helpful for you. About verbal try to get some basics for sentence correction. Read more and more papers. Solve more and more questions.

Solve as much times OG questions as you can. though you think you have done OG, believe me, OG questions are mirror copy of the actual questions. So try them again and again. Understand exactly, what each question is testing. If you are using iphone or any device, which you use while commuting, take all notes on it. I have all idioms list in my iphone, so that while walking or traveling I read them everyday and remember them.

About RC - make sure that you do 3 or more passages back to back everyday without fail.

About SC - read one chapter of MGMAT book everyday and apply those concepts while solving SC questions. If you are eliminating any option tell to yourself why are you doing so. try to solve number of SC questions on this forum. Try 1000 SC as well. Post your thoughts and try to get more and more from all respected experts.

Well, I did 25 CR questions from MAGMAT and got 21 right in a given time. They were tough- tougher than the actual GMAT test.

Here is my plan:

1) Go over the Quant basics from KAPLAN; NP, Prop. %, Angles etc.
2) Go over OG Quant questions one more time;
3) GO over OG verbal questions one more time.
Both section with extra detail and give an other chance in five weeks. Lets see....

By the way, I have economics background and have been working for the Government agency responsible for long-term economic and finance planning.... Have 3.7 Graduate GPA and have worked in an International Bank overseas.

Earlier I posted about my disappointing score of 330. I wanted to update you on my progress since I feel like I've made some significant improvements lately with the GMAT Pill. https://www.gmatpill.com .

So, about few months ago, I decided to go to the Business school. I bought some books on the GMAT and as I continued, I found that I was not getting the real deal as to how to get a decent score between 680-720. I have an economics and political science background and I have worked in the numbers field. However, the GMAT is a different beast.

So, I started to look for some help. I saw KAPLAN; did some Manhattan, Veritas etc. But I was still feeling that I was missing something. Moreover, the tests I did from the MBA.COM or others, my score was ranging between 400-450 which was frustrating and then I saw the GMAT Pill. I saw what they were offering with what costs.

Now, at first I was not sure how this video thing would work and what type of questions I would be doing. If I needed any help, would I get it in due course? But, even with these reservations, I went ahead and I felt that I found an excellent source.

After month or so, any tests I did, I was scoring above 600 for the first time on the GMAT Prep software! Moreover, I was confident. I know that the scores on mock tests are not reflective of an actual score but here is the thing:

I feel like this GMAT Pill program is helping a lot--at least for me. The videos changed the way I was thinking. I guess I was taking too much time--even for the easy questions. But I see things differently now.

Now, lets be honest: the GMAT exam is also about how your nerves are during the exam. After going through some of the GMAT Pill program, I am calmer and fully aware of the fact that there is more than one way to solve a problem. At the moment, I feel hopeful but I know there's still a lot that needs to be done. So wish me luck and I have to thank Zeke at GMAT Pill for helping me with my confidence.
