Dear Vishal,
Overall your profile looks quite nice. Schools see sooooo many IT folks from India, that it's pleasant to see someone from marketing. Based roughly on the info you gave here, I think the right strategy for you would be to apply to a mix of Top 20 schools, and then adding one or two more out of Top 20 as safe schools.

For marketing, you could really go to any MBA program, as it's a very basic part of B-school, and you would definitely have the resources for that, anywhere you go. Nonetheless, it's not a bad idea to look at the Marketing program rankings, of which Kellogg is (still) the leader: https://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandr ... g-rankings

Hope this helps!!!!

Hi Vishal,

Though your GMAT score is a bit average but your work experience can compensate for it.

Few Indians from Sales/ Mktg background apply and you bring considerable experience.
Other aspects of the profile are also decent.

Look at Haas & UCLA in addition to Duke.
