Desperate. GMAT in 2 weeks

by fmadrona1 » Fri Dec 04, 2015 3:01 pm
Hello,

I am feeling hopeless =(. I started studying over 2 months ago. My baseline score was 390 ( terrible, I know).

I am following Magoosh and GMAT prep. I study at least 3 hours on weekdays and 6 hours on the weekends.

I took another practice exam yesterday and I am only up to a 420. I am terrified.

A little background, I am stronger in verbal than math for this GMAT, but got As and Bs in college. Graduated in 2011 though, so I did need to review the concepts.

What do I do? Do I give up?

How would you spend the last 2 weeks?

What's your target score?
Is it absolutely necessary to take the GMAT in 2 weeks?

Keep in mind that you can reschedule your test up 1 week before the test day, so you might consider taking another practice test in a week or so to see where you stand. I typically suggest that students achieve their target score on at least 2 practices tests before they take the official test.

Hi fmadrona1,

It would help to know a bit more information about these CATs and your overall goals:

1) What were the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for these 2 CATs?
2) What is your goal score?

3) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
4) Do you know which Schools you plan to apply to?
