The answer to your question relies on your previous prep - while the OG is a good source to improve your scores many students find that there are not enough questions to study and look for more. Before you get out of the OG you may want to make sure that you have not only taken and checked all of the questions in the OG but also that you have identified the question type and the correct approach.

Your scores are very high and you are looking to improve at a difficult level therefore you may also benefit from taking more practice exams. Do you think your score was affected by test stress or by gaps in your knowledge? If it was timing and stress then you would do well to get practice exams adn work though those to deal with your specific issues.

I don't know your background, but if its engineering you can target Q50 and V35 and get a 700.

@Becky
I did covered OG last time around..May be a revision of the questions will suffice..one thing which i felt during the exam is that i was going too fast & finished the verbal part with more than 5 mins left..if i had utilized that 5 mins more effectively i could have improved my verbal score..

As i have only 1 month in my hand..i am planning for sticking with OG & lots of practice test to improve my verbal..Does this approach looks sound to you..please share your views..

Thanks.

Yes..i am from engineering background..i was getting quant score of 48-50 in my practice test..so u can say that there is a scope of improvement in that area as well..but the real worry is verbal as SC & RC passage doesn't come natural to me..i had practiced lots of questions to improve in these areas..any suggestion from your side for these areas..?

You should certainly keep redoing questions - maybe get the supplements to the OG for more questions. It is important to know that you should be writing things down during the verbal and following a systematic approach. The verbal is based in logic just like the math, it is just less obvious. My biggest tip for RC is to write down an answer to the question before you look at the answer choices. it is important to know what you want an answer to say before you look at them so you don't get distracted by the ideas in the answer choices.

Of course you could improve verbal, improving your strengths is easier than your weaknesses. You can get Q50 with 5 mistakes out of 37. A lot of people are getting Q50 and getting to Q50 alone would take you to 680-690.
