yesterday i went through kaplan online test and i score 540..i was shocked to see this score because i am studying gmat since last many months. when i look into the analysis i came across that 9 out of 15 mistakes i made were small stupid mistakes. For example: in one of the question i forgot to multiply with 100, in other question i took 7 zero for one million. i am very good at handling word problems but when a question appeared on the screen i was totally blank. overall, i know how to handle all the questions except two of them. for me the test was really easy but the result was shoking.
Verbal score was another big shock because i am very good at SC and RC. in RC i made three wrong choices and two of them i knew i was doing wrong but i still marked the wrong choice because i wasnt confident. where as in SC, again 80% mistakes were my own fault. i knew every thing but still making small little mistakes. i need advice that how i can overcome these mistakes. i know i can score 700 or above but when it comes to testing, i am totally confuse.
