While hiring may be slowing in consulting and banking, it appears that MBAs are still very attractive in the healthcare industry: https://www.businessweek.com/bschools/co ... op+stories.

Scottie,
This is a great article.

On a side note - Candidates should also be aware of the many resources available for MBA students interested in Healthcare, including dedicated programs (i.e. Wharton's Healthcare Mgmt Program), courses and activities (i.e. Healthcare Club, HC Conferences).

If you are interested in pursuing healthcare post-MBA, make sure you do your homework and know what healthcare-related programs are available at the school you are applying to.

Regards,

N
