Any tips or suggestions for GMAT

by materialmagic » Thu Nov 14, 2024 6:12 pm
Hello everyone,

I have been preparing for the GMAT for a while. I have taken the GMAT before but my scores were not high. In the mock tests, my score range was always between 650 and 760 but in the real test it was terrible. I took Kaplan and GMAT Prep tests.

So I decided to retake the test. I took a test every week and was able to identify my weak areas.
Math - Probability, Permutations and Combinations, Properties of Numbers and Sets.

I have been consistently scoring 47 in Math and want to get above 50.
Literature - RC (Purpose Type Questions). I have been scoring 34-37 in Speaking and want to get above 37.
I would really appreciate it if someone could point me to good theoretical resources on the above topics.
I seem to make the same mistakes every time and I really want to avoid that. When I read the answers to the questions, most of them seem so obvious that I curse myself for not thinking that way.

Can you guys give me some tips or suggestions?

Thank you.
