Answer B is completely illogical - it sounds as if the creature were still alive
Answer C changes the meaning as it is the fossils that were discovered and not the creature
Answer D violates the rule of Subject Verb agreement as there is a plural subject "the fossils" and a singular verb "provides"
Answer E also changes the meaning since it is not the fossils that resemble a fish and a land-animal
Answer a is correct as it follows the Subject Verb Agreement rule while being logically structured
