Religious View on Essays: yay or nay?

by hwiya320 » Thu Sep 24, 2009 6:12 pm
I am currently working on my essays and I ran into a question about religious view. I have been a youth mentor and a bible study teacher for my church for past 6 years. I find the passion and purpose in doing the works as my extra curricular activities.

I wanted to use one of the lesson I learned from past sermons to correlate with my goals in MBA.

Will that have a negative effect on my application process? would you recommend not using any religious view related subjects?

Thank you very much!!
Time to beat the GMAT again.

If it's true to your values, as it appears to be, then I recommend using it. It's all in the execution obviously but I don't see why you wouldn't. The more genuine you can be the better.
