B
Wrong comparison. You are comparing "Feudal Europe" with "homesteading policies". Likewise for C and D.

In E, "Urban areas" vs "the American West" is also incorrect.

Best answer is B.

Why ????
because we need a comparison between "feudal europe" and " american west"

Only B states this...

Only one question...

i think there should be a comma after American west in B, "American West homesteading policies".. or else it might act as a phrase and there might be a fallacy of improper comparison...

anyone???

Yes. The comma should be there otherwise the phrase seems awkward.

However, B seems to be best choice.
