factorial question!

Could someone please explain how 2!=(m-1)!
= 2=m-1
= m=3?
i know the factorial concept as in 5!=5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1.The (m-1)! is the part that got me confused.

Where did you find this question?

Obviously states x!=y! <=> x=y.

Hence
2!=(m-1)! <=>
2=m-1 <=>
3=m
