A DVD rental costs d dollars to rent for 2 days and $2.25 for each addilitional day.Carl rents a DVD for 5 days and it costs $10.25.What is the value of d?

d+3x2.25=10.25
d+6.75=10.25
d=3.50

How the hell is the OA $1.60??
