I am not able to solve this question. Just getting mixed into different equations.
Let the number of supervisors = 3.
For the average score to be 90, the total number of points required = 3*90 = 270.
1 supervisor -- 1/3 of the total number of supervisors -- gave Darlene a score of 70.
Thus, the total number of points required from the other 2 supervisors = 270-70 = 200.
The average number of points required from these 2 supervisors = 200/2 = 100.
Percent increase from 70 to 100 = (100-70)/70 * 100 ≈ 43.
The correct answer is
D.
