If the product of a set of numbers is negative, that only means you have an odd number of negatives (since every pair of negatives will multiply to give you a positive number). So if we have six elements in our set, and our product is negative, we might have 1, 3 or 5 negative numbers in our set. So even using both statements, we cannot answer the question - E.
