what was a certain company's revenue last year ?

(1) Last year the company's gross profit was $4100.
(2) Last year the company's revenue was 50% greater than its expenses.

OA C

These are the formulas I know about problems of this type:

Price = Cost + mark up
Gross profit = price - Cost
Revenue = price x quantity

I don't see how to reach the answer from the given information. Could you help !???

Statement 1:
-----------

Revenue from Sales - Costs = 4100
i.e R-C=4100

Cannot find Revenue from sales since we have no idea about the costs,hence insufficient

Statement 2:
------------

R=1.5C

Again cannot find R or C

Combining 1 and 2 we get

1.5c-c=4100
Find c and then you can get R.

Sufficient.

Hence(C)
