What is the slope of line l in the rectangular coordinate system?

(1) Line l intersects line y = x + 5 in more than one point
(2) Line l is parallel with line y = x + 12

Statement 1: Line l intersects line y = x + 5 in more than one point
Two straight lines cannot intersect at more than one points unless they coincide one upon another. Thus line l and line (y = x + 5) is same. Hence slope of line l = slope of (y = x + 5)

Sufficient.

Statement 2: Line l is parallel with line y = x + 12
Slope of line l = slope of (y = x + 12)

Sufficient.

The correct answer is D.
