plz explain

A= (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). How many 3 digit numbers can be made using digits of set A such that number is divisible by 5 ?

A) 40 B) 60 C) 120 D) 180 E) 216

For a number to be divisible by 5 the Unit's Place can either be 0 or 5.

So the number of three digit numbers can be : 5*6*2 = 60.

This is because at the hundred's place we can't have 0 so only 5 digits can be there.

So the answer would be B.
