Hi fellows,

I looked into the MGMAT Strategy guide for sentence correction, and it showed the following alternatives:

1) i am twice as old as he is

2) the price is 10 $, twice the price last year

3) the costs are 10 $, twice the costs 12 years ago.

Two questions arise from here:

1) could someone please tell me when do we use TWICE AS MANY/ TWICE AS MUCH

2) is it possible to replace:

the costs are 10 $, twice the costs 12 years ago.

with

the costs are 10$, three times as high as last the costs year.
