please help how do i solve (sqrt 7 + sqrt 7)^2. please give the explanation step by step. thank you

Hi,
(sqrt 7 + sqrt 7)^2 = (2*sqrt 7)^2 = (2^2)*(sqrt 7)^2 = 4*7 = 28.
