The main ingredient in a certain drug capsule costs $500/kiligram. Each capsule contains 600 milligrams. (1kg = 10^6 mg.) What is the cost of the ingredient?

1kg = 10^6 mg

1mg = 1/10^6 kg

600 mg = 600/10^6 kg

$500/kiligram

600/10^6 kg * 500 = 30/100 = 3/10 = 0.3

Hope this helps.
