OG 12th Ed. Pg 223. Q 116.

I have already seen the OG method of solving this problem, but when I tried to do this on my own before looking at the solution, I identified a sequence which was sort of adding increasing numbers, +1, +2, +3, +4 etc.

Can this problem be resolved using this sequence. It's just bothering me bcuz I have identified the sequence and can't figure out how to use it to solve the problem. Thanks!

The answer is , if the number of cities = N

Then the number of dots = N(N-1)/ 2 = 435

Hi,

As 5 citites lead to 10 points or 10 dots.. 30 cities will give 60 dots..

Bfman.. can you post the answer choice too...
