Going to the battle after 3 weeks

by antest07 » Sun May 31, 2009 1:32 am
1. I recently discover that the questions in Powerprep appears exactly the same in Official guide 10. As I have already studied the Official Guide 11, does it mean that the score I get from Gmatprep will not be accurate?

2. I am particularly weak in RC social science topics (But doing quite well on other topics), can anyone suggests a quick fix to this problem?

3. So far I have done a series of tests and got the following results:
I got the following Kaplan test score:
Kaplan CAT 1: 600 (Q40 V30)
Kaplan CAT2: 690 (Q52 V30) <-- Getting comfortable with Kaplan math
Kaplan CAT 3: 580 (Q37 V29) <--- Disturbed by somebody, sigh....
Kaplan CAT 4: 660 (Q51 V26) <-- Not doing well on RC social science passages
Powerprep: 640 (Q48 V31) <-- First attempt in ETS Math

My target B schools are Simon Fraser University and University of British Columbia (Both Canadian school). My target is 670 to 700. Any advice is greatly appreciated. What score can I reach if I get (Q50 and V30)?

A score of Q50 and V34 earns a 690.

Improving RC skills might be achieved by reading well written publications such as Business Week or the Wall Street Journal.
