One of the informants eventually professed ignorant of crime, having fear that his testimony would lead to reprrisals against him by his former confederates.

a ignorant of crime, having

d ignorance of crime, for

vertically d is right because of ignorance but what is the mistake of having and for. we can use haviing for possesion too. Like I have a car after 10 years in job.

Pls little throw some comment on having and for case.
Noone else will do it. Only I will do it. No Matter how difficult is my dream. Those who think can only achieve it.!!!

I can't explain why having is wrong but what I have read on the forum till date is that usage of having in GMAT should be avoided.
