I took the GMAT around Oct 5th and got a 510 (Q34, V27). I need at least a 48 in quantitative to be competitive for the program I'm applying for. I'm an economics major so math was never difficult for me until I experienced the GMAT math. I plan on retaking the GMAT November 25th and my plan is to use the MGMAT math series for the topics I'm weak in (Word problems and Data Sufficiency). So far I have used OG Guide, Kaplan and Magoosh.
I would appreciate any advice on how to improve my quant score. I know I have timing issues as well as struggling with silly mistakes in Data Sufficiency.
Here are my previous practice CAT scores:
8/24 Official CAT
420 (Q22, V25)
9/01 MGMAT CAT1
550 (Q38, V28)
9/20 Kaplan CAT
580 (Q43, V33
10/5 Official CAT 2
550 (Q36, V31)
10/13 MGMAT CAT 2 (Most recent)
620 (Q39, V36)
