Hello
I have started studying for the GMAT (test date Dec 3rd) and would like to have your views on my study plan for the coming 2.5 months.
I have already been through the study materials and used the following:
QR - Total GMAT and Kaplan Premier (answered all questions and reviewing)
SC - MGMAT SC (all questions plus some verbal OG 12)
RC - Kaplan Premier / I bought MGMAT GRE CR but did not like it that much.
CR - Powerscore CR and Kaplan Premier (finishing all Questions shortly)
2nd half of Sept:
- Plan is to review the materials and attempt questions in 1000 SC, 1000 RC and 1000 CR
- Also to finish questions in Crack the GMAT by Princeton review
- Take a diagnostic test
- Complete OG QR and Verbal 12 and start OG Official guide 12
Oct:
- Start complete tests under timed conditions (Access to Kaplan, MGMAT, GMAT Prep)
- Continue with OG Official
- Bought Kaplan 800 and plan to finish this in October
- Look at IR and get some practice
Nov: Two weeks off for GMAT
- Tests and review only
- Do all OG (12 and 13) again and review
- Practice AWA
So far, I feel that I need to improve on the Verbal side, especially on CR.
I can devote 3h daily on weekdays and 10 - 12 h during the weekends. Total of about 25h per week.
Do you think that it will be worthwhile signing up for an online course? I am actually based in a country with no prep provider and where even the GMAT is not offered!. I have been told that the tutors are quite good at showing you the tips and tricks needed to save those crucial seconds on test day.
Can you please let me know your views?
And my aim is at least 700.
Many thanks
El Gringo
