Should i join a prep class to increase my gmat score

Hi v_sprint,

I think a GMAT course or tutoring could be very helpful but only if it is quality and if you do the assigned work. If you want to find out whether a course is for you without spending much, consider the GMATFix Live course. I just attended the first class (free) and it was very helpful. I've heard that ManhattanGMAT classes are also really good, so if you're considering a course you might also want to check that out.

To help you decide though, I would say to first find out what your target score is and where you currently stand (by taking a GMATPrep exam). Maybe you don't need much, if any, improvement

Most of the experts here are representing different companies...so we can all boast of our effectiveness.

Many people succeed with self study, however the most efficient route to success is with a program or tutor. Courses are good if you are ok with a one-size-fits all approach. If time is an issue, and you want the best bang for the buck, want to deal with your weak areas and discover how to improve your score via the nuances of the test, then one-on-one is the way to go. Per hour it is generally a greater investment, but the time and focus is streamlined.
