Hello All,

I have experienced very strange occurances in taking the GMAT. Twice my scores were nowhere near my targeted score. I scored a 570 on my first attempt. I then took the MGMAT private study course and my practice exams were the following:

630
630
570
660

I scored a 530 on my 2nd GMAT attempt.

I sometimes did the quant section first and then finished with the verbal section about an hour later due to my work schedule. For some reason, my scores on these practice exams are just not translating to the real thing.

Anyone?

I think there is a problem with the software..of MGMAT ...you shoul inform it to them ..so that athey can find the bug out..
I think scores should add up even if u take after certain hours...though in real exam u can take 5-10 min break only as and when required...

Hey,
It is always advisable to complete the test in one - go.
You should never do like this:-Complete 1 section now and the other 5 hours later"
THis will obviously hinder your prep for examination temparament.

I would sincerely advise you-"Complete all ur tests in one go " and if possible try to simulate the exam-conditions be it the rough work u are doing, the time of ur exam(ex:-9 to 12 then you should give practice tests in the morning 9-12 only)

Then,if you get any discrepancy in scores, you can look for your conceptual weakness..

I hope ,it helps.
It takes time and effort to explain, so if my comment helped you please press Thanks button :)

Just because something is hard doesn't mean you shouldn't try,it means you should just try harder.
