Veritas Books Review

by sleepyjoe » Tue Feb 02, 2010 9:57 am
Hello Everyone:

I'm planning to purchase Veritas Books; I heard their books
are for advance GMAT test takers. Are there any book review on this site for them?

Good luck to everyone.

Thanks

Andy

Not too many people on here have used the Veritas materials or taken a Veritas course. I may take their course though, so if I do, I will come back and review the materials.

I am currently taking their 2 month prep-class. What I have found is that they do provide mid-to-difficult level questions with most of their material. The class instructors have all scored in the 99th percentile so they are able to relate valuable techniques and advice to my preparation

The books generally consist of about 20-30 pages which serve as a refresher for the concepts being tested. Each book is a concept that will be tested (RC, DS, SC, CR, Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic). Each book also provides approximately 80-100 practice questions related to the topic as well as a full answer key in the back detailing the process of how each answer was achieved.

Also, with the class, you are entitled to 13 practice exams.
