Given: ∠XYZ = 90°
Add to diagram

90° - 55° = 35°
So, the missing angle is 35°

Finally, since angles on a line add to 180°, we can write: x° + 35° = 180°
Solve to get: x = 145°

Answer: B

We see that that angle supplementary to the angle with measure of x degrees is 90 - 55 = 35 degrees. Therefore, x = 180 - 35 = 145 degrees.

Answer: B
