Work rate problem

Two people walked the same distance, one person's speed is between 25 and 45,and if he used 4 hours, the speed of another people is between 45 and 60,and if he used 2 hours, how long is the distance?
A.116
B.118
C.124
D.136
E.140

Can anyone arrive at exact answer.

The options are all integers, whereas the distance in a given interval could be a non-integer as well. At the same time, the wordings are also not perfect for GMAT.

Person 1 could have walked any distance between 100 and 180, whereas Person 2 could have walked any distance between 90 and 120. Both A and B are the possibilities but we cannot zero in to the exact figure for the distance.

Clearly there is ambiguity whether the answer should be an integer or no. But if the answer is an integer then the answer is A,
B is eliminated since it gives the speed as a fraction.
C,D,E all show the speed to be greater than 60 km/hr when divided by 2 each.

Assume both the speeds are an integer.
if time is taken half for 2nd guy then v2(second person)=2*v1(first person)
then chances are (v1,v2)={(26,52),(27,54),(28,54),(29,58)} becoz the ranges are in between
distance could be 104,108,112,116
only 116 is there in choices

So Ans is A
