Board

IMO A. Because "board of directors reckoned" we need to use Singular "it". Also, the other choices use passive voice or wordy.
In addition, look for some more points to remove wrong answers.heshamelaziry wrote:IMO A. Because "board of directors reckoned" we need to use Singular "it". Also, the other choices use passive voice or wordy.
the option B and E makes improper use of idiom , "not only but also"
C , D and E uses the plural form "Their" where as "it" is apt.
so we are left with only A, which should be the answer.

JEnIUS, i agree that the subject in the sentence is "Board", as per Manhattan, but can Board vote ? or do the Directors vote ? I think the subject can be from a prepositional phrase. Would not that make D right ?JEnIUS wrote:In addition, look for some more points to remove wrong answers.heshamelaziry wrote:IMO A. Because "board of directors reckoned" we need to use Singular "it".
