Can anyone share there Wait List success stories/tips? I've been wait-listed to UCLA and USC with a 590 GMAT, 2.9 GPA. I'm praying to every single god I know. Help!

Well, do they encourage or indicate willingness to accept more communication from you?
If yes, send them a mail quoting improvements to your profile. Let them know that the school is your number one choice and you will accept if admitted. Try to submit some dealbreaking information if you have any.
If communication is welcome, try something different. A collage of achievements? A presentation?
Also, keep in touch with the adcom once in 3 weeks or so. Share your passion for the school with them. They will take notice. Be sure to add any info about yourself that you think could not be covered by the essays and the application.
Rest is up to luck, pal.
I had 3 waitlists. I got one admit, one reject and one is still in waiting (though I gave up sending info as I am not too keen about the program anymore.)
