Need Tips: Test on 15th of March

by adi » Mon Mar 03, 2008 5:52 pm
Hello all,

I've been browsing the forum a bit but I could still use some help.

I have my GMAT test on the 15th of March. I have been studying on and off for about a month now. I have beens studying straight out of "The Official Guide for GMAT Review, 11th Edition."

I have finished the prep-test at the beginning of the book and have gone through all the math review sections. I have also gone through all of the 250 math questions and I'm now half way through the Quantitative questions.

My plan is to go through the rest of the Quantitative section, and then to move on to the other parts. I don't think I'll be able to cover all of the grammar and reading sections, but I'll do as much as I can.

What else do I need to do outside of the book? I just downloaded the "Free GMATPrep Test-Preparation Software" from the GMAT website. When should I go through that, and what else can I do to get a solid score?

Thanks for any feedback! It's greatly appreciated.

Since you're so close to your test date, I would take one of the GMATPrep tests immediately as soon as you can so you have a general idea of where you're at. That'll give you the next two weeks to refine your studies.

Thanks for the reply! :)

I just took the first GMAT Prep test from MBA.com and scored a 560.

Quantitative: 32
Verbal: 35

How accurate is this assessment?

According to my score, I'm guessing I should spend some more time on math.

By the way, besides the second GMAT Prep test that I can take, what are some other free tests I can take?
