I am working and can devote anywhere between 9-13 hrs a week. i am an average student and want to score in the early 700's.

How much time of preparation do i need if i start preparing for GMAT in March this year?

Thanks

Much depends on where you stand today. I would suggest you take up a practice test preferable GMAT prep (from mba.com) and see your score. You could take the prep test after couple of weeks of prep, where in you can get yourself familiar with the question types and no of questions etc..Once you know where you stand..you can better plan to reach your target score.

Most people take 2-3 months but agree with Prasanna - you need to see where you stand now and how that compares with where you want to be.
