Did i beat the Gmat -690 (47,38) ?

Yesterday was my G Day.

I got 690.

Quant - 47 and Verbal -38.

I was in a very bad physical condition yesterday. I belive that i could have scored atleast 4-5 more in verbal.

I have a Master's (Mtech, 9.2 CGPA) from IIT and work exp of 3+ years in a BIG MNC.

Is this good enough or should i re- take ?

thanks for the suggestions.....

A bit about my Preperation.

I started to prepare long back ( 18 months ago). But it was bits and pieces.

I started to prepare seriously 3 months back. 2 -3 hours daily. I could not afford more time becasue of my work pressure.

I studied:

OG 10 Quant and Verbal
Manhattan SC - I really suggest this book.
Kaplan and 700 - 800 group CR, SC and RC.

My prep scores are as follows.

Gmat Prep1 - 720
PR Test1 - 580 ( i was SHOCKED)
PR Test2 - 640s
Prep Test3 - 660
Kaplan Test1 - 650
Gmat Prep 2 - 710

Apart from these test, i have Quant and Verbal tests by 800gmat. I regualrly got 42 + in verbal.

For Quant, i would suggest to concentrate on DS. Read kaplan and use these strategies in solving OG and kaplan DS questions. I used to make losts of mistakes(in DS). But i had the habit of making notes of the mistakes and make sure that i dont repeat them.

For verbal, Manhattan SC has really good concepts for SC. USe these and solve AS MANY questions as possible. My sincere advice -> While solving the questions (in SC and CR), please stick to the rules strictly.dont rely on intution ( common mistake i used to do).

for RC, i suggest making mental notes while reading, read as if you are Intrested in the topic and treat RC as if its a large CR. While reading, always look for the connection between paragraph's.

if you need any material dont hesitate to ask.
