Hi All,
I just got a painful letter from the University of Notre Dame saying that I was offered a spot on the waitlist. Got outright rejected from NYU and am still waiting to hear back from Georgetown. A little bit of background info about me:
Hispanic/White Woman
600 GMAT
3.3 GPA from a honors liberal arts college
6 months post grad work experience at a business intelligence firm + a year (in college) of work experience at Booz Allen
I know my GMAT is low and I know that my work experience is not great. but i definitely made a great first impression at the interview (or so I thought). I have just sent a letter to UMD thanking them for still considering me, what makes me a great candidate and why I'm a perfect fit and I plan to send a similar letter to ND. However, I was looking at stats I found online from both colleges and the odds are not that great of getting accepted off the waitlist.
Please help me?!?! what do i do?
i reallllllyy dont want to have to take the GMAT again because I am 2 months out of practice. Does being a woman or Hispanic help my odds???
