Hello,

Can you please let me know the approach to answer a essay question which has 3 or 4 parts to it..
Should we answer all questions continuously or separately as a), b) and c)
Which is better?

A typical example could be the NYU Stern Essay 1-

Think about the decisions you have made in your life. Answer the following. Answer the following:

(a) What choices have you made that led you to your current position?
(b) Why pursue an MBA at this point in your life?
(c) What is your career goal upon graduation from NYU Stern? What
is your long-term career goal?

Please suggest.

Kind Regards,
Mannu

Dear Mannu,

Generally speaking, when essays questions have multiple parts that are related (as this question does), then the answer should flow together in a cohesive manner. More often than not, the multiple questions will be related.

Regards,
Lisa
