I guess you don't follow college sports, which is actually the best thing about college.

I am in Seattle.
Yep.

Btw... where did you give your test? Which country?
US. yesterday morning @ 8 am. :)
Did you take a date yet?
Nope.. Arizona.. Luv the west coast, applying to schools in California :) What about you? Cornell? Columbia? You have so many to choose from man.. Are you based out of NY?
Congrats! My test day didn't go so well (I think I had a caffeine crash combined with loss of willpower).

Which schools are you applying to?? I too was trying to apply to a Cali school (Im in Chicago and am sick of the winters)... pref Pepperdine or U of San Diego.... but I'll settle for a San Fran State (any Cali school on the "Beyond the Grey Pinstripes ranking list). I'm looking into sustainability MBAs.

I had a mental breakdown halfway through verbal and couldn't concentrate on anything after the 20th question. Cancelled my score... Anyways congrats!

Going thru the pains of determining which school is the best "fit" for me n vice versa...

If only researching schools & programs was as easy as the GMAT!! :(

I am applying to Haas and Anderson. I have had it with the 3 digit summers here for 10 years now, so really wanna get out of the Arizona heat. My first preference is Haas, since I've been planning to move to the bay area since quite a few years. Hopefully, MBA does it for me.
If I don't get into those, then ASU is my back up plan.
MBA is too expensive, and I already have a mortgage on the house I bought couple yrs ago, so I am only applying for part time MBA programs.
Chicago winters can be brutal, I remember visiting Chicago once in April and once in October, and it was COLD! Of course, that was equivalent of the coldest winter in Arizona.. so that explains :)
When are you scheduling the test for now? Are you planning on applying in Round 2?

Where all are you planning to apply at? UCLA or USC will probably be the closest to Orange County :)

I know but it is completely depends on my score on 23rd. I want to be in NC. I will probably gor for 'wake forest school of business' and if I get something more than 700 then 'Duke'.

Let's see how that day goes.

You have plenty of options! Why not University of San Diego? The average GMAT is 658 and its a VERY good school. Expensive though.

We are in the same boat.. I want to relocate to Cali and an MBA would be the best bet. Pepperdine and UofSD have round 1 apps due by Dec 15 so I still have time.

If you want Bay Area, another good school is Santa Clara. Bay area would be good for me since I have family over there.

If you have a mortgage in AZ... who are you going to pay for it? You would have to move AND find a job if you are part time, no? If you went full time, you could get a bunch of loans atleast.

Hey,

You mentioned in your debrief that you took 2 hr e-gmat CR course which increased your accuracy to 90%. I dont see that course on their site. Will you shed some light on that course. I am struggling with CR and want to improve on it

I got to know about it during my one-on-one session with Payal (the one session that you get for free when you purchase their SC course). I told them that I was having difficulty with CR, which is when they offered the 2-hr session (obviously I had to pay for it). I think Rajat is the one who is their CR expert, you might want to send them an inquiry.
