Which out of the following is correct? Please explain by giving suitable examples

A numbers of
The numbers of
Numbers of

Though i have red that A numbers of and The numbers of is always incorrect but I am not sure about Numbers of. Please support.

No, 'numbers of' is also wrong.
You can use the word 'numbers' in a sentence, but when it is followed by 'of' you have to make it 'number' and not 'numbers'.
The basic logic is that the word 'number' represents a quantity of certain kind of things.

Thanks for the response but if you see the below link, it says that numbers of is also correct.

I need some specific examples where i can get to know the context in which "numbers of" can be true..
