My Profile is :

GMAT 690
Engineer - B.Tech ( from a reputed college in India)
GPA : 8.6/10
Work Ex: 1 year with a big4 consulting firm in Technology Consulting domain. Will be 2 years by July 2014 (start of MBA)
Extra curricular: President of a club in college ; good community involvement

What are my chances of getting accepted at NUS and SMU?

Both SMU and NUS applicants have 5 or more years WE on average. With such a brief professional stint on your resume, you may have challenges standing out in the crowd from other applicants. Additionally, your GMAT score is going to also be below average in your applicant pool. It's a good score, just will not stand out amongst other Indian applicants with Tech background. My advice would be to get another couple of years WE, where you demonstrate you can advance and take on progressive responsibility before going back to b-school.
