Gmat strategy for last 15 days before exam.

by deepakk » Sun Aug 25, 2013 7:38 am
Hi Sir,

I have scheduled my exam on 12 September.
So please give me some advice to what all things I need to do from now onwards, since I have 15 days left for my exam.
I have finished Manhattan book for Sentence correction.
I have practised almost 150 passages in Reading comprehension and also I have done with official gmat guide.
In Maths I have finished the Manhattan strategy guide along with Manhattan advanced guide for mathematics.
I have finished Manhattan Critical reasoning.

I had scored 580 when I started the preparation in GMAT mock test.

I appreciate your support.

Regards,
Deepak Kumar

Hi Deepak,

If you can answer a few questions, then I'll be happy to offer some advice:

1) What is your score goal?
2) Where do you want to apply to school?
3) Are you on any deadlines (besides your current test on 9/12)?
4) How many practice CATs have you taken and what were the score breakdowns?

Keep in mind that the GMAT is a test of your math and verbal skills AND it's a test of your test-taking skills. So, start taking practice tests to work on your endurance and your time management skills. These practice tests will also help you identify any weak areas you need to work on.

Finally, these practice tests will help you determine whether or not you're ready to achieve your target score of 700. I typically suggest that students achieve their target score on at least 2 practices tests before they take the official test. If you're unable to reach your target score, you should consider rescheduling the test.

Cheers,
Brent
