Triple Nine Society ("TNS" -- https://www.triplenine.org/default.asp) is a global social networking organization for adults age 18 and over who have an IQ ("g") at or above the 99.9th%ile. We currently have over 950 members from 34 countries around the world. Our membership represents a broad diversity of interests and professions -- not just MBA's, but also physicians, lawyers, computer scientists, etc.

Though the Wechsler is the gold standard for determining IQ, it turns out that a score of 750 or higher on the GMAT serves as a reliable proxy for an IQ in the 99.9th%ile, and therefore enables eligibility for admission to TNS. (See https://www.triplenine.org/main/admission.asp for other test scores we accept).

TNS membership, which costs only a nominal $10 per year, offers a great opportunity for social and business networking with fellow highly-gifted people. The Members-Only area of our website houses a world map showing the zip code area where each member resides, to enable personal get-togethers with nearby members or while traveling. We have members-only online interactive groups on Yahoo! Groups, Facebook, and LinkedIn. We're hosting our fourth annual Global General Gathering" in the US (www.ggg999.org) and next year will host our third annual European General Gathering (www.egg999.org). We publish a members-only bimonthly magazine, Vidya, whose excellence recently inspired one of our newest members to apply for admission after he found a recent issue in a waiting room and enjoyed reading it.

Finally, we've recently had such an influx of new members who've qualified for admission to TNS based on their 750 GMAT scores, that we're considering offering a "mentoring fellowship" or a modest scholarship to new GMAT-qualifying members. As a Stanford GSB grad (Sloan, 1996), I'd find it gratifying to "give back" in this kind of meaningful way.

So, if you achieve/d a 750 GMAT score, then please check us out and consider joining. Just go to https://www.triplenine.org/main/admission.asp, And, of course, please also mention us to your GMAT-qualified friends.

Dr. Ina K. Bendis, Triple Nine Society Membership Officer
