PS - Least value

If x is a negative integer, which of the following has the least value?


(A) 12/x

(B) 7/(x-2)

(C) 8/3x

(D) 10-x

(E) -5-x

To solve, it's probably easiest to pick a value for x. I used -1:

A = 12/-1 = -12[

B = 7/-3 = -2 1/3

C = 8/-3 = -2 2/3

D = 10 - -1 = 11 (this could be eliminated without checking since 10 minus a negative will always be a positive greater than 10)

E = -5 - 1 -1 = -4

Thats quick....I always forget to switch my mind to "PLUGGING", so even easy sum looks difficult
