This isn't a GMAT question - there are too many missing points - can you replace the letters, is one O different from another? A GMAT question will answer all of these.

yeah right, clean your SPOONS first


And then a clean SPOON would require 1 S, which can be selected in 2C1 ways from your set [SPOOSON], 1 P, which can be selected in 1C1 ways from the same set, 2 Os, which can be selected in 3C2 ways from the same set, and 1 N, which can be selected in 1C1 ways from the same set.

Total SPOONS to clean = 2 × 1 × 3 × 1 = [spoiler]NO CHEATING[/spoiler]
