Is x = y?

(1) (x + y) (1/x + 1/y) = 4.
(2) (x - 50) ^2 = (y - 50).

Hence x-y = 0 -> x=y

(x+y)(x+y)/xy=4

(x+y)^2/xy=4

Sub x=y

(2y)^2/y^2

4y^2/y^2=4
