If 5x = 6y and xy ≠ 0, what is the ratio of 1/5x to 1/6 y?

a. 25/6
b. 36/25
c. 6/5
d. 5/6
e. 25/36

IMO B

Given 5x=6y

=> x/y = 6/5 --->I

Now we have to calculate (1/5)*x / (1/6)*y = [(1/5) / (1/6)]* (x/y) = [6/5] * (x/y)

From equation I ,we know that x/y = 6/5, so we can plug in (x/y) in expression above

[6/5] * (x/y) = [6/5] *(6/5) = 36/25 ---- So, B

Yup IMO (B) too

(1/5x)/(1/6y)?

5x = 6y
x/y = 6/5

(1/5)6/(1/6)5
(6/5)/(5/6)
36/25
