If x is a positive integer and 7^x + 2^19 = 7^q, (q - x) could be in which the following ranges?

(i) (q-x) < 0
(ii) 0 < (q-x) < 1
(iii) 1 < (q-x)


a. i only
b. ii only
c. iii only
d. ii and iii only
e. i, ii, and iii

Since q does not have to be an integer, it just needs to be larger than x. D is the answer.

For smaller values of x (say between 0 to 5), q-x>1
But for a very large value of x (say 10000), q would be approx equal to x (but slightly greater than x)
Ans is D
